My Acne Journey with Retin-A tretinoin

Hi Everyone

Here is a subject which is very close to my heart. I suffered with Acne from about 13 right up until last year. I know how much having bad skin can affect your life. I was constantly in this cycle of wearing loads of make up to hide the spots and then that would in turn cause more spots!!

I've decided to do this review and if it helps just one person with acne then my goal has been achieved. I will be running you through some tips and products which for me have manage to clear my face.

Lets get into it

Here is me about 3 years ago

Ok you're thinking that isn't acne. It is... This is a very full coverage foundation and can you see on my forehead those millions on dots?? Also on my left cheek some raised bumps?? I look an oily mess and I can't believe i'm sharing this photo ahhhhh!!

At this time I was working through a whole host of products from my doctor trying to help. I think this is MaC studio fix fluid.... BAD IDEA.. This used to break me out like a motherfuc..... But I craved the full coverage it gave me. So heres what i did

Me about 2 months ago

I'm not sure if you can tell but my skin is pretty much clear. It has been for a while now and I couldn't be more happy and more grateful. Everyday I check to see if its come back and for now it hasn't. About a year ago I had clear skin and stopped using Retin-A and all my spots came back :( but I haven't been using it again now for about 2 months and i'm still spot free.... FOR NOW!!

I stopped using Mac's studio fix. That stuff is no good for your skin (i'm a current user) If you have any problems with your skin do not use this foundation. If you are using it like me make sure you take
Every single scrap off before bed and using a heavy duty cleanser this stuff will cause you acne even if you don't have it.

This is the stuff I started using and boy and it helped so much. I would alternate between Bare Minerals and Mac and literally that day after using Mac i'd have at least one white head!! Bare minerals gave a flawless build able finish but it highlights dry areas which is not good if you're on Retin-A. I applied this using a kabuki brush and literally piled it on. Even though I haven't used this product in years I would still recommend it to anyone with skin problems!

Now onto the miracle product. I would hands down say this is the most important product to me in the whole world. Doesn't matter if you're using Mac foundation or Tesco value foundation if your skin is clear thats more important

Retin-a

I have tried also the Retin-A 0.015% I think it is?? But this 0.025% is amazing. I just used to pile this on before bed and damn it hurts even going on. Its basically like a Salic acid face peeler every night. Your skin gets dry and flaky, red. Even spottier! I remember in the middle of using this I looked into my car mirror and my face was COVERED in black heads. I could have cried. This product brings all the spots to the surface by making your skin peel. It's literally amazing against spots, black heads, scarring. It is phenomenal! If your doctor isn't recommending this then tell him this is what you need! Obviously different products work for different people but this worked for me where other products failed!! I think this is only available prescription only and for a good reason this stuff is strong! don't use it if you're going in the sun as omg you will burn your face off!

Those are literally the only changes I made. Changed my make up to Bare Minerals and starting using this at night time and BAM my skin is clear. This is a subject I am truly passionate about and id love to hear if this works for you or infact what has worked for you???

Take care everyone

HUGE Tophop jewellery Haul/Buy

Hi everyone

After my good deals from the Topshop stores I decided to check out online. It was all half price so I left it there. However I checked on Friday and it was all down to £1.50.. More my price. They were also doing half price delivery £2! Heres what I brought.

All this came to £14 with postage!! The RRP for the necklace was £28 so such a bargain!!

I love how vintage this is. It feels so heavy and is such good quality

Not to sure about this ring. The stone is purple and it has a sort of spike
coming from the top. Got this in a medium and its too big!! :(

This necklace is not worth £28! However it is worth £1.50! It's so tribal. The quality again is good
for £1.50 but not £28! Topshop what are you thinking??

Got this in a small but it's a little tight. love this but not sure which finger
to wear it on??

Got this in a small also and fits a little big!! Same sized ring as above!!
going to try and play around with the springs on these.

Cute cute cute

Vintage and again cute.. not heavy and very classic

This ring is nice when you have other rings on aswell
again it's a little big but ill make it work

Overall i'm so pleased with everything I got. Can't believe it got to me so quickly!! I only tend to buy costume jewellery in the sale as I feel it's so overpriced for what it is. Get to Topshop.com!
